Discussion/reports:

  1. 172nd Ave updates
  2. Direction for Plan Commission with regard to land division ordinance: Possibly adding language to allow division of parcels of less than 40 acres.

Discussion and Possible action on the following:

  • Submitting a request to Kenosha County Highway Department to conduct a traffic study on Hwy K (60th Street) from I-94 west to 152nd Ave (Hwy MB).  Residents on Hwy K are citing excessive speed and inattentive driving and are requesting a lower speed limit.

Plan Commission recommendations:

  • Ordinance 2020-6 Elmer R. Weis, 17111 38th St., Kenosha, WI 53144 (Owner), requests an amendment to the Adopted Land Use Plan map for Kenosha County: 2035 (map 65 of the comprehensive plan) from “”Farmland Protection” & “Non-Farmed Wetland” to “Farmland Protection”, “Suburban-Density Residential” & “Non-Farmed Wetland” on Tax Parcel # 45-4-221-284-0100, located in the southeast ¼ of Section 28, T2N, R21E, Town of Paris.
  • Elmer R. Weis, 17111 38th St., Kenosha, WI 53144 (Owner), requesting a rezoning from A-1 Agricultural Preservation Dist. to A-1 Agricultural Preservation Dist., & R-2 Suburban-Density Residential Dist. with an Agricultural Planned Unit District overlay on Tax Parcel # 45-4-221-284-0100, located in the southeast ¼ of Section 28, T2N, R21E, Town of Paris.

  • Accept JSA Environmental Inc. proposal for creating and maintaining a website for Landfill Audit reports.
  • Operator licenses for two years starting July 1 2020 thru June 30 2022 for Kayla Heckel at Mars cheese castle and Nicole Cook for Stumble Inn.
  •  Contract for overhead door repair with A&R Door Service Inc.
  • Possible appointment of Janet Ling to the Memorial Committee

Please note – This meeting is being held at the Town Hall.  The hall will be set up for social distancing.  It is requested that all attendees provide and wear a face mask while present.  Anyone exhibiting a continuous cough will be asked to leave.
