FOR LEASE OF
TOWN OWNED PROPERTY
The Town of Paris, Kenosha County, is seeking bids for the Lease of Approximately 18 Acres of Tillable Land Adjacent to the Paris Town Hall, 16607 Burlington Road, Union Grove, Wisconsin, being part of Parcel No. 45-4-221-153-0350.
Terms of Lease are:
- One Year Term: January 1, 2021 — December 31, 2021, at a lease rate proposed by bidder; or
- Multi- year term with a premium bid. If the bidder would prefer to lease the land for a 2- or 3-year term, the Town would be willing to entertain such bids, at a rent premium above the amount proposed for a single-year term. Any such multi-year lease, in a form to be provided by the Town if such option is selected, would include a provision pursuant to which the Town could cancel the lease as to part or all of the parcel, at the Town’s option, with agreed-upon reimbursement to Tenant as to any such lease cancellation. The decision as to whether to enter a one-year or a multi-year lease is entirely at the Town’s option; and,
- Lease must include a Certificate of Insurance, and other required terms.
The form of the lease agreement to be entered into by the selected bidder is available for inspection at the Town Hall during normal business hours.
Bids shall specify the proposed annual rent to be paid to the Town under the Lease Agreement, and the premium above such amount the bidder would be willing to pay for a multi-year lease.
Sealed Bids must be addressed to Town of Paris, 16607 Burlington Road, Union grove, Wisconsin 53182. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly labeled \”Bid for Land Lease.\” Sealed Bids will be accepted until 4:00 pm on November 23th, 2020.
Sealed bids will be publicly opened at the regular Town of Paris Town Board Meeting, starting at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 24th, 2020.

The Town Board of Paris reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the highest responsible and responsive bidder.
