  3. Board may consider a motion to go into closed session, pursuant to sec. 19.85 (1)(e), for deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session, pertaining to the draft Master Agreement with Midwest Fiber Networks, and pursuant to 19.85(1)(g), conferring with legal counsel concerning strategy to be adopted with respect to litigation the Town is presently involved in:  specifically:  Case No:  22-2435, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit
    Peter Nelson, Plaintiff-Appellant v. Town of Paris, Defendant-Appellee, Appeal from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin No. 22-CV-1100;
  1. Reconvene into open session and take action, if any, as to the matter(s) discussed in closed session.

  1. Approval of ordinance to adopt updates to the Town of Paris Land Use maps and plan.
  2. MidWest Fiber Network agreement
  3. Bid documents for replacement of concrete approach to Fire/Rescue equipment bays.
  4. ATC Road repair agreement closure
  5. Set date for budget workshop.
  6. Donation to the school’s PSO for the Panther Prowl.
  7. Temporary Liquor License for Midwest Therapeutic Riding Program on September 30th, 2023.
  8. Temporary Operator’s License for Heather Woodard for Midwest Therapeutic Riding Program on September 30th, 2023.
  9. Bid for designing a Tri-Fold Brochure for the Fire Department’s new burn ordinance.
  10. Agreement for Animal Control Services

Discussion/Updates:

  1. Internet updates – Spectrum, Mid-West Fiber projects
  2. Paris Solar project updates
  3. Highway E closures

13.
