Town of Paris Plan Commission
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be conducted by the Town of Paris Plan Commission on Monday, October 15, 2018, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Paris Safety Building, 16607 Burlington Road, Union Grove Wisconsin 53182 to consider a proposed amendment to the land use map for the Town of Paris contained in the Comprehensive Plan for Kenosha County. The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comment on the proposed amendment.
An application has been filed with Kenosha County and the Town of Paris by Steven Wisnefski, 1036 172nd Ave (owner) requesting an amendment to the Adopted Land Use Plan map for Kenosha County: 2035 (map 65 of the comprehensive plan) from “Farmland Protection” to “General Agricultural and Open Land” on Tax Parcel #45-4-221-161-0102 located at 1315 172nd Ave in the Town of Paris.
The intent of the amendment is to allow for the separation of the existing home and accessory building from the balance of the cropland and create a separate parcel.
The public may review copies of the application and the Comprehensive Plan at the Town of Paris Safety Building, 16607 Burlington Road during regular Town Office hours. Interested parties may make arrangements with the Town Clerk to obtain a copy of the application. (262-859-3006)

During the Public Hearing, the public is invited to speak on the application. Written comments can be submitted to the Town Clerk prior to the meeting and shall become part of the record. The Public Hearing shall be closed when all interested parties in attendance have had a chance to offer comment.
Upon the close of the Public Hearing, a meeting of the Town of Paris Plan Commission shall be called to order and the application shall be addressed per the agenda.
