Town of Paris Plan Commission
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be conducted by the Town of Paris Plan Commission on Monday, March 20, 2023, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Town of Paris Safety Building, 16607 Burlington Road, Union Grove Wisconsin 53182 to consider a proposed amendment to the Land Use Plan Map for the Town of Paris of the Comprehensive Plan for Kenosha County. The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comment on the proposed amendment.
An application has been filed with Kenosha County and the Town of Paris Stephanie O. Jaeger Family Asset Trust, 16441 1st St., Union Grove, WI 53182 and Stephanie O. Lamping 16441 1st St., Union Grove, WI 53182 (Owners), Eric Christensen,7 N. Pinckney St., Madison, WI 53703 (Agent), requests an amendment to the Adopted Land Use Plan map for Kenosha County: 2035 (map 65 of the comprehensive plan) from “Farmland Protection”, “INRA” & “Non-Farmed Wetland” to “Farmland Protection”, “Rural-Density Residential”, “INRA” & “Non-Farmed Wetland” on Tax Parcels #45-4-221-032-0101 & 45-4-221-032-0105, located in the NW ¼ of Section 3, T2N, R21E, Town of Paris.
During the Public Hearing, the public is invited to speak on the application. Written comments can be submitted to the Town Clerk prior to the meeting and shall become part of the record. The Public Hearing shall be closed when all interested parties in attendance have had a chance to offer comment.
Upon the close of the Public Hearing, a meeting of the Town of Paris Plan Commission shall be called to order and the application shall be addressed per the agenda.
