Invitation to Paris Residents to Participate!
The Town of Paris will be holding an Community Informational Open House on Thursday, October 17th from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Paris School gymnasium, located at 1901 176th Ave.
This is your chance to ask questions, share opinions and concerns and visit with your neighbors about current and planned activities in the town.
Town committees such as the Plan Commission and the Legacy Committee may distribute surveys to solicit community opinion.
The format will be an open house style gathering with no presentations. Each invited group will have a table and representatives for you to approach and visit with. Maps and other information will be available for viewing.
The goal is to provide a relaxed and informal setting for town residents to attend as their schedules allow. By providing multiple groups covering the majority of areas currently active in the town, it is hoped that residents who might not otherwise attend a meeting or a hearing might attend to become better informed and have their questions answered. It should also be a way for the participants to gather feedback.
