To whom it may concern,
The Town of Paris and the Village of Bristol were recently made aware that landowners in both communities have received a packet from Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America, LLC. The packet informs property owners that their land is being considered as part of the route for a proposed pipeline project.
The company has assigned land agents to the project who are contacting landowners directly to request permission to conduct on-site evaluations of the proposed route. These agents may ask landowners to sign a survey permission form.
Both the Town and the Village have been in communication with company representatives to obtain more information about the project and its potential impact on our communities. We have also reached out to the Kenosha County Executive and local legislators regarding the matter.
To ensure residents are informed, we are inviting landowners from both communities to an open house-style meeting on:
Tuesday, November 4th
6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Kenosha County Center
19600 75th Street, Bristol, WI
(Main Hearing Room)
During this meeting, we will share the information gathered so far, display maps based on the general route provided by the pipeline company, and discuss what landowners and community members should know about the process moving forward.
Respectfully,
John Holloway- Town of Paris Chairman
